Wayne County Man Wins $4 Million Playing the Michigan Lottery’s $4,000,000 Winner Instant Game

Winning TicketA Wayne County man gave the Michigan Lottery’s $4,000,000 Winner instant game a shot after finding out none of the top prizes had been claimed yet and then won a $4 million top prize!

“I like playing the $30 games and saw on the prizes remaining page on MichiganLottery.com that $4,000,000 Winner still had all three top prizes remaining, so I went to the store to buy a ticket,” said the 50-year-old player, who chose to remain anonymous. “The store had three $4,000,000 Winner tickets left, so I bought all three, scratched the barcodes, and scanned the tickets.

“One of the tickets came back with a message to file a claim, so I knew I had to have won one of the big prizes, but I was too nervous to scratch the ticket. The next day, once I calmed down a bit, I scanned the ticket on the Michigan Lottery app and started screaming when $4 million came up on the screen! It was unreal.”

“Checking the instant games prizes remaining page on MichiganLottery.com led this lucky player to trying a new game and scoring an incredible $4 million win!” said Lottery Commissioner Suzanna Shkreli. “Congratulations to Michigan’s newest millionaire on his life-changing prize!”

The player bought his winning ticket at Superior Market, located at 5700 Plymouth Road in Ann Arbor. He recently visited Lottery headquarters to claim the big prize. He chose to receive his prize as a one-time lump sum payment of about $2.7 million, rather than annuity payments for the full amount. With his winnings, he plans to pay off his home, take a trip, and then save the remainder.

Players have won more than $72 million playing $4,000,000 Winner, which launched in December 2023. Each $30 ticket offers players a chance to win prizes ranging from $30 up to $4 million. More than $92 million in prizes remain, including two $4 million top prizes, 24 $15,000 prizes, and 132 $5,000 prizes.

In 2024, Lottery players won nearly $1.8 billion playing instant games.

“I told my husband when I got home, and he had a hard time believing it even after looking the ticket over. We haven’t told anyone about our big win, but plan to surprise our family with the news soon!”

Club Keno Tripler Time with Plus 3 Gives Players a Chance to Double and Triple Their Winnings

Tripler TimeThe Michigan Lottery is giving players a chance to double and triple their fun, and their winnings, in July with the Club Keno Tripler Time with Plus 3 promotion.

Beginning July 1, and running for a limited time, Club Keno tickets that include the Plus 3 add-on game are eligible for the Tripler Time promotion, without any additional cost.

If a player receives a Doubler or Tripler message on their ticket, Club Keno, Plus 3, and Kicker prizes will be doubled or tripled to a maximum of $4 million. To qualify for the double and triple winnings, tickets must be eligible Club Keno prize winners. Receiving a Doubler or Tripler message alone does not denote a win. If a player purchases a multi-draw ticket and receives a Doubler or Tripler message, all eligible winnings for all the drawings on that ticket are doubled or tripled.

To be eligible for the promotion, players must add the Plus 3 add-on game to their Club Keno ticket. The Jack prizes are excluded from the promotion.

Club Keno may be played at the 10,500 Lottery retailers across the state. Drawings take place every three and a half minutes. Results and live drawings may be found online at MichiganLottery.com.
