Cash Multiplier Family of Instant Games Gives Players a Chance to Win Millions in Prizes

Cash Multiplier family of instant gamesMichigan Lottery players have a chance to multiply their moolah this new year with the Cash Multiplier family of instant games, which offers players $190 million in total cash prizes!

The Cash Multiplier family consists of five games, four of which are scheduled to launch Jan. 2:

  • $5,000 Cash Multiplier – Each $1 ticket offers players a chance to win prizes ranging from $1 up to $5,000 with $5.5 million in total cash prizes available.
  • $50,000 Cash Multiplier – Each $2 ticket offers players a chance to win prizes ranging from $2 up to $50,000 with $12.5 million in total cash prizes available.
  • $500,000 Cash Multiplier – Each $5 ticket offers players a chance to win prizes ranging from $5 up to $500,000 with $28 million in total cash prizes available.13
  • $1,000,000 Cash Multiplier – Each $10 ticket offers players a chance to win prizes ranging $10 up to $1 million with $54 million in total cash prizes available.

$2,000,000 Cash Multiplier launched in December. Each $20 ticket offers players a chance to win prizes ranging from $20 up to $2 million with $91 million in total cash prizes available.

Lottery instant games may be purchased at the 10,500 retailers across the state.

In 2022, Lottery players won more than $1.7 billion playing instant games.

Michigan Lottery Offices Closed in Observance of New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day

Happy New YearIn observance of New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day, the Michigan Lottery headquarters in Lansing and all Lottery regional offices located in Detroit, Grand Rapids, Livonia, Saginaw, and Sterling Heights will be closed on Friday and Monday, Dec. 29 and Jan. 1.

All regularly scheduled drawings will take place on Friday and Monday.

The bank claim centers that the Michigan Lottery has teamed up with may have office hours on Friday and Monday, however, they will not be able to process claims, because the Lottery offices will be closed.

Lottery offices will reopen on Tuesday Jan. 2 at 7:45 a.m.

Jumping Jackpot: Powerball Jackpot Increases to $700 Million for Tonight’s Drawing

PowerballThe Powerball jackpot has increased to $700 million for tonight’s drawing! The cash option for the jackpot is $352.3 million.

If a lucky player wins tonight’s Powerball jackpot, it would be the fourth largest Powerball jackpot won this year.

The Powerball jackpot was last won on Oct. 11 when one ticket purchased in California won the $1.76 billion jackpot. The jackpot was the largest Powerball jackpot won this year and the second largest jackpot in Powerball history.

The last Michigan player to win a Powerball jackpot was Cristy Davis, of Waterford. Davis won the game’s $70 million jackpot on Feb. 12, 2020.

Players have plenty of time to purchase tickets for the drawing. Lottery retailers throughout the state are selling Powerball tickets until 9:45 p.m. Tickets also may be purchased online at MichiganLottery.com.

Powerball drawings take place at 10:59 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday and may be watched live online at: http://www.powerball.com. A “Power Play” option that multiplies non-jackpot prizes by up to 10 times to a maximum of $2 million may be added to any Powerball play for only $1.

Making Millionaires: 53 Michigan Lottery Players Win Millions in 2023

New homes, new cars, luxury vacations, and financial security top the wish lists of Michigan Lottery players. In 2023, the Lottery helped make those dreams come true for countless players.

All told, 53 players became millionaires in 2023 playing Lottery games. The largest prize won this year was a $8.75 million Lotto 47 jackpot won Aug. 19. The winning ticket was purchased by a Kent County man at Paris Spirits & Wine, located at 2871 East Paris Southeast in Kentwood.

In 2023, Michigan Lottery players collected more than $3 billion in prizes. The 53 prizes of $1 million or more accounted for more than $98 million in winnings for players.

In addition to the 53 players who won $1 million or more, more than 250 players won prizes of at least $100,000 in 2023.
