LANSING, December 21, 2006 – Gloria Ibe from Canton was “very excited” with her easy pick $10,000 win.  Ibe matched four white ball numbers and the Mega ball number to win the Mega Millions third-tier prize.

The lucky winner, who is a nurse, plans to pay bills with her prize money.

LANSING, December 18, 2006 – Finalists for the Michigan Lottery’s Holiday Celebration $500,000 grand prize drawing have been selected.

The finalists are from the following cities:

• Highland
• Howell
• Kawkawlin
• Lansing
• Marshall

Names of the finalists have been withheld, pending notification.  Finalists qualified for the drawing by sending in a non-winning Holiday Celebration Instant ticket.  The five lucky finalists were chosen from a pool of over 65,000 entries.

The grand prize drawing will be conducted on Dec. 24 at Ford Field during halftime of the Detroit Lions – Chicago Bears game. 

One of the finalists will be half a million dollars richer on Christmas Eve!  Michigan Lottery Instant games, it’s how holiday fun is done!
