Winner elated with $35,000 prize

LANSING, November 9, 2007 – A regular instant Lottery player scratched her was to the top $35,000 prize on the Cashword instant ticket.

The winner, who opted to remain anonymous, had the ticket in her purse before cashing it in at the Lottery’s Sterling Heights office.  She plans to pay bills with her prize money.

The winning ticket was purchased at Wixom Fuel, 28055 S. Wixom Rd., in Wixom.

Cashword is just one of many Michigan Lottery Instant tickets available at nearly 11,000 Lottery retailers statewide.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.

$1 million prize claimed

LANSING, November 7, 2007 – A very lucky man, who requested anonymity, claimed a $1 million prize at Lottery Central in Lansing. He scratched his way to the top prize on the Quick Million instant ticket.

The winning ticket was purchased at Ford West Party Store, 35071 Ford Rd., in Westland.

Quick Million is just one of many Michigan Lottery Instant tickets available at nearly 11,000 Lottery retailers statewide.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.

Lottery club claims $10,000

LANSING, November 7, 2007 – A Saginaw Lottery club claimed $10,000 after matching four white ball numbers and the gold ball number in the Oct. 5 Mega Millions drawing.

The Lucky Losers Lottery club checked the numbers about a week after the drawing and learned their good fortune.  They hid the ticket in a fire safe and have no immediate plans for the prize money.

The club purchased the lucky winning easy pick ticket at Princing’s Pharmacy, 333 S. Michigan Ave., in Saginaw.

Detroit winner claims Mega Millions prize

LANSING, November 7, 2007 – Seantel Taylor walked out of the Lottery’s Detroit office $10,000 richer!  Taylor matched four white balls and the gold ball to win the Nov. 2 Mega Millions prize.

The lucky winner said the prize was a blessing.  The winnings will go toward paying bills.

Taylor purchased the winning easy pick ticket at Subis Oil LLC, 21815 W. 10 Mile Rd., in Southfield.

Lucky man wins $10,000

LANSING, November 6, 2007 – A lucky Waterford man is $10,000 richer, thanks to the Michigan Lottery’s Mega Millions game!   On Nov. 2, Larry Spears matched four white balls and the gold Mega ball to win the prize.

The lucky winner told Lottery officials that he was surprised with his win.  He has no special plans for the easy pick prize money.

The lucky winning ticket was purchased at Hatchery Road Market, 4850 Hatchery Rd., in Waterford.
