An Oakland County woman used money she received as a birthday gift to play the Michigan Lottery’s Lucky Coins Disco Pig online instant game and won a $150,000 prize!

“My aunt sent me a card with money in it for my birthday which was a few days prior, so I used the money buy an online game card,” said the 47-year-old-player, who chose to remain anonymous. “I was playing Lucky Coins Disco Pig and decided to do one $20 wager. When the game finished and $150,000 came up on the screen, I thought to myself: ‘Did I play in demo mode? This can’t be real!’ It was the best birthday gift ever!”

The player recently visited Lottery headquarters to claim her prize. With her winnings, she plans to buy a new car and then save the remainder.
