A Bay County woman couldn’t believe her eyes when she won $250,000 playing the Michigan Lottery’s KENO! game.

The lucky 82-year-old player, who chose to remain anonymous, matched 10 of the 22 numbers drawn Nov. 10. Her winning numbers were: 03-05-10-11-12-21-25-41-42-61. She bought her winning ticket at ASMS 21 LLC, located at 1500 Cass Avenue in Bay City.

“I have special sets of numbers for all the draw games that I play, including KENO!,” said the player. “I checked the winning numbers on MichiganLottery.com after the drawing, and when I saw all 10 of my numbers, I thought: ‘Am I really seeing this?’

“I had my daughter come over and look at my ticket to make sure I was reading it right. Winning is an amazing feeling and is going to provide a sense of financial security.”

The player visited Lottery headquarters recently to claim her prize. With her winnings, she plans to buy a new car and then save the remainder.

KENO! tickets may be purchased for $1. Players select 10 numbers from one to 80 for a chance to win prizes ranging from a free instant ticket up to $250,000. Drawings for the game take place at 7:30 p.m. seven days a week.
