Livingston County Man Wins $100,000 Playing the Michigan Lottery’s $300,000,000 Extraordinaire Second Chance Game

Pile of $100 bills

Luck struck twice for a Livingston County man who won a $100,000 second chance prize in 2022, and now another $100,000 prize playing the Michigan Lottery’s $300,000,000 Extraordinaire second chance game!

The lucky 63-year-old player, who chose to remain anonymous, won $100,000 after he was selected in a random drawing that took place Oct. 1. He earned entries into the giveaway by scanning non-winning $300,000,000 Extraordinaire tickets on the Michigan Lottery app.

“I won a $100,000 prize playing the $300,000,000 Diamond Riches second chance game back in 2022, so when I saw the email that I had won $100,0000 playing the $300,000,000 Extraordinaire second chance game, I couldn’t believe it happened again,” said the player. “Winning means my retirement fund just got bigger which will allow me to spend more time enjoying life.”

The player recently visited Lottery headquarters to claim his prize. He plans to save his winnings for retirement.

Each non-winning $300,000,000 Extraordinaire ticket is eligible for a second chance to win a $100,000 prize. Players can enter by scanning their non-winning $300,000,000 Extraordinaire tickets on the Michigan Lottery mobile app ticket scanner by May 2, 2025. Eight more second chance drawings will be conducted. Each drawing will award two $100,000 prizes.

Players can visit MichiganLottery.com/secondchance50 for complete game rules and drawing dates. The next drawing is scheduled for Oct. 29.
