An Indiana woman thought something was wrong with MichiganLottery.com when she won $100,000 playing the Michigan Lottery’s Big Crush Multiplier instant game online.
“My husband and I have a cottage in Michigan, so I play Michigan Lottery games online whenever we are there,” said Christine Miles, 54. “I was playing Big Crush Multiplier, and was up $1,000. My husband told me I should cash out, but I played a few more spins.
“When the prize amount of $100,000 came up on the screen, I didn’t believe it and thought something was wrong with the Lottery site. I logged out of my account and then logged back in thinking the prize would be gone, but my balance still showed $100,000. Shortly after, I got an email from the Lottery about claiming my prize, and that’s when I knew it was real!”
Miles visited Lottery headquarters recently to claim her big prize. She plans to save her winnings for retirement.
“I now know things like this really do happen to the average person like me, and it is truly unbelievable,” said Miles.
