An Ingham County woman is still in shock after winning $800,839 playing the Michigan Lottery’s Jumbo Jackpot Slots Fast Cash game.
The lucky player, who chose to remain anonymous, bought her winning ticket at the Quality Dairy located at 3332 East Lake Lansing Road in East Lansing.
“I stopped and purchased my Fast Cash ticket on the way to work and checked it over once I got back to my car,” said the 38-year-old winner. “When I saw I won the jackpot, I was in complete shock. I went to work and continued on with my regular day because I just couldn’t believe it.”
The player visited Lottery headquarters recently to claim the big prize. With her winnings, she plans to pay off her house.
“I’m so excited, but I’m still in shock,” the player said. “I think it’s going to take a while for it to sink in that I actually won this huge amount of money.”
Fast Cash games are a series of instant-win games that print from terminals at Lottery retailers. Fast Cash tickets range in price from $1 per play up to $20 per play.
