A Flint man couldn’t sleep after winning $100,000 playing the Michigan Lottery’s Wild Bingo instant game.

Joe Bell, of Flint, won the big prize on a Wild Bingo ticket he bought at the 777 Party Store, located at G1229 North Ballenger Highway in Flint.

“I bought the ticket at the party store and started scratching it when I got to my car,” said the 66-year-old Bell. “When I saw I had won $100,000 I went crazy! I had to pinch myself because I thought I was dreaming. I went and told my friend right away and she couldn’t believe it either.”

Bell recently visited Lottery headquarters to claim his prize. With his winnings, he plans to buy a house.

“I couldn’t sleep the past two nights knowing I won $100,000,” said Bell. “It still feels like a dream!”

Players have won more than $9 million playing Wild Bingo which launched in September 2017. Each $3 ticket offers players a chance to win prizes ranging from $3 up to $100,000. More than $1 million in prizes remain, including 16 $1,000 prizes, and 29 $500 prizes.

Lottery instant games may be purchased at 10,500 retailers across the state.

In 2018, Lottery players won more than $1 billion playing instant games.
