A Midland County woman did a touchdown dance after winning $100,000 playing the Michigan Lottery’s Football Payout instant game online.
“I had to look at my phone a couple of times before I realized how much I’d won,” said the player, who chose to remain anonymous. “I called my husband to tell him I’d won $100,000 and couldn’t stop screaming into the phone.
“I had to get a Social Security card to claim the prize, and every day while I was waiting, I logged in to make sure the prize was still in my account and this wasn’t a dream.”
The 36-year-old player visited Lottery headquarters recently to claim the big prize. With her winnings she plans to pay bills, help family, and take a trip to Disney World.
“Winning $100,000 is a crazy feeling. It feels so good to know I can help take some weight off my husband’s shoulders and we can help some family members who have helped us along the way,” the player said.
