A Wayne County woman says winning a $214,502 Fantasy 5 jackpot will help her immensely.

The lucky player, who chose to remain anonymous, matched the Fantasy 5 numbers drawn June 29 – 09-15-24-35-39 – to win the jackpot. She bought her winning ticket at the Admiral gas station, located at 2615 South I-75 Business Loop in Grayling.

“We were visiting family up north and saw the Fantasy 5 jackpot was getting high, so we decided to take a chance,” said the 68-year-old winner. “When we got home and checked the ticket we were stunned.

“We’ve had a lot of things going on lately that have been large expenses, so this comes at the perfect time and helps us immensely.”

The lucky player visited Lottery headquarters recently to claim the big prize. With her winnings she plans to pay bills and complete some home improvement projects.

Each Fantasy 5 play is only $1. For an additional $1 per play, EZmatch may be added to a Fantasy 5 ticket, giving players a chance to win up to $500 instantly. Fantasy 5 players select five numbers from one to 39. Players who match all five Fantasy 5 numbers drawn win a jackpot that starts at $100,000.
