A Washtenaw County man is making plans to come back to Lansing to claim more Michigan Lottery prizes after winning a $133,222 Fantasy 5 jackpot.

The lucky player, who chose to remain anonymous, matched the Fantasy 5 numbers drawn Saturday – 09-25-27-28-37 – to win the jackpot. He bought his winning ticket at the Lodi Food Market, located at 6135 Ann Arbor Saline Road in Saline.

“I stop each day and buy a few Fantasy 5 tickets,” said the 68-year-old player. “That night I watched the drawing and wrote all the numbers down. When I checked my ticket I thought: ‘Regularly playing finally paid off!’

“Now that I’ve won, I feel like I might be able to do it a couple more times. Hopefully, I’ll be back here collecting another big prize next week!”

The lucky player visited Lottery headquarters on Monday to claim the jackpot. With his winnings, he plans to pay off his home.

Each Fantasy 5 play is only $1. For an additional $1 per play, EZmatch may be added to a Fantasy 5 ticket, giving players a chance to win up to $500 instantly. Fantasy 5 players select five numbers from one to 39. Players who match all five Fantasy 5 numbers drawn win a jackpot that starts at $100,000. Fantasy 5 drawings are held seven days a week at 7:29 p.m. Tonight’s Fantasy 5 jackpot is $119,000.
