One lucky player matched all six Lotto 47 numbers drawn Saturday – 01-12-15-29-41-44 – to win a $2 million jackpot. The winning ticket was bought that day at the Meijer store, located at 3320 West Shore Drive in Holland. The player’s big win marks the eighth time in 2017 a player has won the Lotto 47 jackpot.
Another player bought a $10 Fast Cash Jackpot Slots ticket that day and instantly won the game’s $428,621 progressive jackpot. That winning ticket was bought at the Meijer store’s gas station, located at 3228 West Shore Drive.
Both players chose to remain anonymous and visited Lottery headquarters to claim their prizes on Wednesday. The Lotto 47 jackpot winner chose to receive their prize as a one-time lump sum payment of about $1.3 million rather than an annuity. Fast Cash Jackpot Slots progressive jackpots are not based on an annuity, so the winner received $428,621.
Meijer will receive $5,000 for selling the jackpot-winning Lotto 47 ticket, and $2,000 for selling the progressive jackpot-winning Fast Cash Jackpot Slots ticket.
Each Lotto 47 play is only $1. Players select six numbers from one to 47 for a chance to win a jackpot starting at $1 million and that grows until someone wins it. For an additional $1 per game, players may add EZMatch to their ticket for a chance to win up to $500 instantly. Lotto 47 drawings take place on Wednesday and Saturday at 7:29 p.m. Tickets may be purchased until 7:08 p.m. on the day of the drawing.
