A Dearborn man got the surprise of his life when he won $100,000 playing the Michigan Lottery’s Club Keno game.

The player, who chose to remain anonymous, won the big prize when his Club Keno numbers – 19-23-31-48-54-55-59-63-71-72 – matched 10 of the 20 Club Keno numbers drawn in draw 1465745 on Saturday. He bought the winning ticket at Cardoni’s Bar and Grill, located at 6615 Greenfield Road in Detroit.

“I checked my ticket at the bar after the drawings, and they told me I had to go to a Lottery office,” said the player. “So Monday I visited the regional Lottery office and that’s when they told me I’d won $100,000. I just couldn’t believe it.”

The player visited Lottery headquarters Tuesday to claim his prize. With his winnings he plans to buy a Harley-Davidson motorcycle, take a trip to the famed Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, and then save the remainder.

“It feels damn good to win the Lottery. I am only a few years from retirement, and this will be a nice bump for my nest egg,” the player said.

One of the Lottery’s most popular games, Club Keno gives players 37 different ways to play and win. Players select up to 10 numbers to match from one to 80, with prize amounts determined based on the amount the player wagered. Club Keno may be played at Lottery retailers across the state.
