Kalamazoo County Woman Wins $300,000 Playing Michigan Lottery’s Double Bonus Cashword Instant Game

The lucky player, who chose to remain anonymous, bought the winning ticket at Lesman’s Market, located at 119 East Patterson Street in Kalamazoo.

The player visited Lottery headquarters Monday to claim the big prize. With her winnings, she plans to pay off her home, buy her husband a new vehicle and go on a vacation.

Players have won more than $6.5 million playing Double Bonus Cashword, which launched in October 2016. Each $5 ticket offers players a chance to win prizes ranging from $5 up to $300,000. More than $19 million in prizes remain, including two $300,000 prizes, nine $10,000 prizes, and 39 $2,000 prizes.

Lottery instant games may be purchased at 11,000 retailers across the state.

In 2015, Lottery players won more than $722.1 million playing instant games.
