Winning a $327,052 Fantasy 5 jackpot from the Michigan Lottery was a shock for a Genesee County man.

The lucky player, who chose to remain anonymous, matched the Fantasy 5 numbers drawn Saturday: 18-19-24-33-37. He bought his winning ticket at the Admiral gas station, located at 4522 Richfield Road in Flint.

“I’m shocked,” said the player. “This kind of stuff just doesn’t happen to me.”

The player checked the Fantasy 5 numbers on the Lottery’s mobile app and then shared the good news with his girlfriend.

“She said: ‘Okay, you’re crazy! Let me see the ticket,’” said the player. “After she saw it with her own eyes she screamed ‘Oh my God, you did win!’”

The player visited Lottery headquarters on Wednesday to claim the big prize. The player declined to say what he planned to do with his winnings.

Each Fantasy 5 play is only $1. For an additional $1 per play, EZmatch may be added to a Fantasy 5 ticket, giving players a chance to win up to $500 instantly. Fantasy 5 players select five numbers from one to 39. Players who match all five Fantasy 5 numbers drawn win a jackpot that starts at $100,000. Fantasy 5 drawings are held seven days a week at 7:29 p.m. Tonight’s Fantasy 5 jackpot is $105,000.
