A Clinton County woman has won millions from the Michigan Lottery for a second time after she won $2 million playing the 100X The Cash instant game.

Wanda Hill, of Bath, won the big prize on a 100X The Cash ticket she bought at Mike’s Corner Mart, located at 109 West Capital Avenue in Bellevue. Bath is located about 15 miles north of Lansing.

“I was on my way to visit my grandkids and I decided to stop on the way to buy some tickets,” said Hill. “I bought a couple out of the machine and won, after I cashed them I used half of my winnings to buy more.

“I was scratching the ticket as I walked to my car and lost my breath when I saw I had won $2 million. I went back in the store and they thought I was having a stroke.”

Hill’s $2 million win is the second time she has won a big Lottery prize. In 2012, Hill won $1 million on the Lottery’s Make Me Rich second chance game show.

“I feel like I might be the luckiest person alive,” said Hill. “I can’t believe I won so much again.”

Hill visited Lottery headquarters on Monday to claim her big prize. She chose to receive her prize as a one-time lump sum cash payment of about $1.3 million rather than an annuity.

With her winnings she plans to donate to several charities, help family members in need, and take a trip to Florida.

“When I won before I was able to help so many people and I got so many nice letters thanking me and I am looking forward to doing that again. I figure, if you don’t share your good fortune, it will never come back to you,” said Hill.

Players have won more than $72.3 million playing 100X The Cash, which launched in July 2015. Each $20 ticket offers players a chance to win prizes ranging from $20 up to $2 million. More than $31.5 million in prizes remain, including 25 $10,000 prizes, and 711 $1,000 prizes.

Lottery instant games may be purchased at 11,000 retailers across the state.

In 2015, Lottery players won more than $722.1 million playing instant games.
