08.29.16 Bonus Ball Bingo #760 $100,000 Anonymous St. JosephIt took a St. Joseph man nearly a week to realize he had won $100,000 playing the Michigan Lottery’s Bonus Ball Bingo instant game.

The lucky player, who chose to remain anonymous, bought his winning ticket at the Centreville Shell gas station, located at 201 East Main Street in Centreville.

“When I scratched off the ticket I saw I had a line and thought I’d won $20,” said the winner. “After a few days, I looked at the ticket again and saw I had four corners, so I figured I’d won $100 instead of $20.

“That’s when I decided to take a closer look and realized I actually had an ‘X’ to win $100,000!”

After settling down, the player took his winning ticket to a neighbor who confirmed the good news while they waited for the player’s wife to return home from playing bingo.

“My wife was really excited when she got home from bingo because she’d won a prize,” said the winner. “She said ‘How’d you do?’ when I told her I’d won $100,000, she was stunned.”

The player and his wife visited Lottery headquarters today to claim his prize. With his winnings, he plans to pay bills and take a trip to the western United States.
