“My girlfriend thought I was playing an April Fool’s Day joke when I told her I had won $60,000,” said the lucky player who chose to remain anonymous. “She told me to ‘shut up and go back to sleep.’”

The big win couldn’t have come at a better time for the 29-year-old player.

“My mom actually just helped me out yesterday and bought me a car,” said the player. “Now, I’m going to surprise her and buy her a new car.”

The player visited Lottery headquarters today to claim his big prize. After buying a car for his mother, he plans to use the rest of his big prize to pay off some bills.
