The celebration is on for a Missaukee County man who won $500,000 playing the Michigan Lottery’s Win Big instant game.

The player, who chose to remain anonymous, bought his winning ticket at McNally’s Party Store, located at 126 North Roland Street in McBain. McBain is about 15 miles southeast of Cadillac.

The player said he had no immediate plans for his windfall when he visited Lottery headquarters Monday to collect the big prize.

Players have won nearly $11.4 million playing Win Big, which launched in July. Each $5 ticket offers players a chance to win prizes ranging from $5 up to $500,000. More than $10.3 million in prizes remain, including 111 $1,000 prizes.

Lottery instant games may be purchased at 11,000 retailers across the state.
