Only two weeks remain for the winner of a $50,000 Fantasy 5 prize to claim the big pile of cash!

A winning Fantasy 5 ticket from the Nov. 28, 2014 drawing was sold at the Five Star Liquor, located at 7951 Chase Road in Dearborn. The winning ticket matched the numbers drawn: 10-21-23-26-28. Two winning tickets were purchased for the Nov. 28 drawing, with each player receiving a $50,000 prize.

Fantasy 5 tickets are valid for one year from the drawing date. Because Nov. 28 falls on a Saturday, the prize must be claimed by 4:45 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 30. If the prize isn’t claimed before the ticket expires, the money will go to the state School Aid Fund.

The ticket holder may claim the big prize at any Lottery office or claim center.

If the ticket holder does not come forward, it would be the second major prize to go unclaimed in 2015. In August, a $1 million Mega Millions prize, won with a ticket bought in Grand Rapids, was unclaimed for a year and went to the School Aid Fund.

Each Fantasy 5 play is only $1. For an additional $1 per play, EZmatch may be added to a Fantasy 5 ticket, giving players a chance to win up to $500 instantly. Fantasy 5 players select five numbers from one to 39. Players who match all five Fantasy 5 numbers drawn win a jackpot that starts at $100,000. Fantasy 5 drawings are held seven days a week at 7:29 p.m. Tonight’s Fantasy 5 jackpot is $225,000.
