A “spur of the moment” decision to buy a Platinum, Gold, and Silver 7’s instant game ticket led to a $500,000 prize for a Michigan Lottery player from Lenawee County.
The lucky player, who chose to remain anonymous, couldn’t believe she had won after scratching off her ticket. She bought her winning ticket at the BP gas station, located at 1105 North Main Street in Adrian.
With her windfall, the player plans to help some family and friends in need.
Players have won more than $13 million playing Platinum, Gold and Silver 7’s game, which launched in March. Each $5 ticket offers players a chance to win prizes ranging from $5 up to $500,000. More than $20.7 million in prizes remain, including one $500,000 and 39 $2,000 prizes.
Lottery instant games may be purchased at 11,000 retailers across the state.
