Three Michigan Lottery players celebrated Christmas a little early, winning a total of more than $1.4 million and collecting their big prizes on Monday.
The lucky players won their big prizes on three different Lottery games.
- A Livonia man won $1,000,000 in the Lottery’s Hot Millions game. He bought his ticket at the Sunoco gas station, located at 39950 Five Mile Road in Plymouth. The player chose to take his big prize as a one-time cash payment of more than $634,000.
- A Detroit woman won $250,000 playing the Lottery’s KENO! game. She matched 10 of the 22 numbers drawn – 11-13-16-28-39-43-60-61-67-69 – to win the game’s top prize. She bought her ticket at the Fiesta Liquor Shop, located at 25707 Plymouth Road in Redford.
- A Fenton woman won $174,248 playing the Lottery’s Fantasy 5 game. She matched the winning numbers drawn – 02-12-18-22-31 – to win the game’s jackpot. She bought her ticket at the Fenton Party Store, located at 502 West Silver Lake Road in Fenton.
Each of the players chose to remain anonymous.
The Hot Millions game was released in December 2013. More than 30 $5,000 and 140 $1,000 prizes remain in the $20 game.
KENO! tickets may be purchased for $1. Players select 10 numbers from one to 80 for a chance to win prizes ranging from a free instant ticket up to a jackpot of $250,000. Drawings for the game take place at 7:30 p.m. seven days a week.
Each Fantasy 5 play is only $1. For an additional $1 per play, EZmatch may be added to a Fantasy 5 ticket, giving players a chance to win up to $500 instantly. Fantasy 5 players select five numbers from one to 39. Players who match all five Fantasy 5 numbers drawn win a jackpot guaranteed to start at $100,000. Fantasy 5 drawings are held seven days a week at 7:29 p.m.
Lottery instant game, KENO! and Fantasy 5 tickets may be purchased at retailers around the state.
In observance of the Christmas Eve and Christmas, the Michigan Lottery headquarters in Lansing and all Lottery regional offices located in Detroit, Grand Rapids, Livonia, Saginaw and Sterling Heights will be closed on Wednesday and Thursday. All regularly scheduled game drawings will continue on Wednesday and Thursday.
All Lottery offices will reopen on Friday at 7:45 a.m.
