Players can become part of Michigan Lottery history by purchasing a MONOPOLY MILLIONAIRES’ CLUB™ Lottery game ticket for the game’s first weekly drawing, which will take place at 11:15 p.m. ET Friday.
“Making More & More Millionaires” is the slogan for the lottery game, and each $5 ticket gives players three chances to become a millionaire. Beginning tomorrow night, MONOPOLY MILLIONAIRES’ CLUB lottery game drawings will take place every Friday at 11:15 p.m. ET.
The MONOPOLY MILLIONAIRES’ CLUB Lottery game Top Prize starts at $15 million and can grow to $25 million. Each time the Top Prize is won, there will be at least 10 additional $1 million winners. Once the Top Prize amount reaches $25 million, all additional prize money creates more $1 million prizes, giving players more chances to become millionaires than any other Lottery game.
The MONOPOLY MILLIONAIRES’ CLUB Lottery game reflects the wishes of players who said that they would like a game with more substantial winners rather than just having one or two players win enormous jackpots.
To win the Top Prize, players must match five numbers from one to 52 as well as one of 28 MONOPOLY Property numbers. In addition to the Top Prize and $1 million prizes, players also may win prizes ranging from $5 to $100,000.
The MONOPOLY MILLIONAIRES’ CLUB Lottery game also features a second chance game that will give lucky players a chance to win a five-day, four-night trip for two to Las Vegas and an opportunity to compete for $1 million on a nationally syndicated game show. The game show will be hosted by Mike and Molly star Billy Gardell and is scheduled for a February premiere. More than $2.5 million in prize money will be up for grabs in each hour-long show. To earn entries into the second chance drawing, players collect MONOPOLY Property Sets and enter them online at http://www.playmmc.com.
At the game’s launch, tickets for the new multi-state game will be available to players in 23 states, including Michigan, and the District of Columbia. More states are expected to join the game in early 2015.
