Winning Mega Millions Ticket Worth $1 Million Sold in Grand Rapids

MSL MegaMillions LogoMichigan Lottery players are checking their Mega Millions tickets today to see if they’re a millionaire.

One lucky ticket matched the first five numbers – 25-28-36-45-53 – in Tuesday night’s drawing to win $1 million. The winning ticket was purchased at the CVS Pharmacy, located at 727 28th Street Southeast in Grand Rapids.

The winning ticket holder should contact the Michigan Lottery Public Relations Division at (517) 373-1237 to schedule an appointment to collect their big prize. The prize must be claimed at the Lottery’s headquarters in Lansing.

In addition to a $1 million winner, one $5,000 prize was won by a Lottery player whose ticket matched four of the first five numbers and the Gold Mega Ball (6) in last night’s Mega Millions drawing. That winning ticket was sold at the Speedway gas station, located at 32123 Van Dyke Avenue in Warren.

Mega Millions drawings take place each Tuesday and Friday evening. Each Mega Millions play is only $1. For an additional $1 per play, players have the opportunity to add a “Megaplier” that can multiply non-jackpot prizes by up to five times. Friday’s Mega Millions jackpot is $115 million.
