You can’t beat a classic. That was the case for a lucky Macomb County man who won $1.3 million playing the Michigan Lottery’s Lotto 47 game.
The lucky player, bought his winning ticket at the Speedway gas station located at 18601 Hall Road in Macomb. He matched all six winning numbers from the June 14 Lotto 47 drawing. The winning numbers were: 01-13-15-34-36-40.
The player, who chose to remain anonymous, recently visited Lottery headquarters to collected his prize. He elected to take a one-time lump sum cash payment of more than $824,000. After taxes, he took home a check for about $583,000.
Each Lotto 47 play is only $1. Players select six numbers from one to 47 for a chance to win a jackpot starting at $1 million and grows until someone wins it. For an additional $1 per game, players may add EZMatch to their ticket for a chance to win up to $500 instantly.
