Old Mother Hubbard’s cupboard wasn’t bare for a lucky Michigan Lottery player. A $1 million ticket for last night’s Mega Millions drawing was sold at the Mother Hubbard Party Store located at 3151 Brenton Road Southeast in Kentwood.
The winning ticket matched the first five numbers: 10 40 63 64 69.
The winning ticket holder should contact the Michigan Lottery Public Relations Division at (517) 373-1237 to schedule an appointment to collect their big prize. The prize must be claimed at the Lottery’s headquarters in Lansing.
In addition to a $1 million winner, two prizes of $5,000 were won by Michigan Lottery players whose tickets matched four of the first five numbers and the gold Mega Ball (7) in last night’s Mega Millions drawing. Those winning tickets were sold at the McBride Country Store located at 4315 North Division in McBride, and VG’s #1925 located at 710 Mill Street in Clio.
The estimated jackpot for Friday’s Mega Millions drawing stands at $15 million after a Pennsylvania ticket holder matched the first five winning numbers and the gold Mega Ball to win last night’s jackpot of $149 million.
Each Mega Millions play is only $1. For an additional $1 per play, players have the opportunity to add a “Megaplier” that can multiply non-jackpot prizes by up to five times. Mega Millions drawings take place every Tuesday and Friday at 11 p.m.
