Players are winning big with the Michigan Lottery’s first $30 instant game – $2,000,000 Cash – with more than $7 million in prizes awarded in the first two weeks of the game.
More than $80 million in prizes are still available in the game, including all three of its top prizes of $2 million.
Nearly 120,000 winning tickets have been purchased in the first two weeks. The $2,000,000 Cash game offers players overall odds of 1-in-2.68 of winning prizes ranging from $30 up to $2 million. That includes a 1-in-25 chance of winning $200. To date, more than 13,000 prizes of $200 have been claimed. Each ticket offers players 30 chances to win.
Sales for the $2,000,000 Cash game have been brisk, which is consistent with the strong player interest in $10 and $20 instant games, such as Hot Millions and Diamond Payout also now available at retailers. Both of those games offer top prizes of $1 million.
“Many players like the $10 and $20 instant games because they offer the best overall odds, large top prizes, and multiple chances to win,” said Glenn Strong, the Lottery’s instant games product manager. “The strong response we’re seeing to the $2,000,000 Cash game shows that this preference holds true for our first $30 game and that players are excited about the chance to win $2 million.”
Tickets for the $2,000,000 Cash game are on sale at Lottery retailers across the state.
