The Mega Millions jackpot is up to $344 million! Friday night, the jackpot rolled over again after no one matched all six numbers.
If won by a single Michigan player Tuesday night, it will be the largest Mega Millions jackpot won in the state. It would be $136 million more than the $208 million that Ralph and Mary Stebbins, of Port Huron, won April 22, 2005.
The jackpot can be paid out as an annuity for 30 years. The breakdown of that huge jackpot would be:
Yearly: $11.4 million
Monthly: $955,555
Weekly: $220,512
Daily: $31,415
Hourly: $1,308
Or, the winner could decide to take the money in a lump sum of $184 million!
The next Mega Millions drawing will take place on Tuesday, December 10 at 11 p.m. Tickets are $1 each and must be purchased by 10:45 p.m. to be eligible for that night’s drawing.
