Steven Byklas, a resident of Maryland, visited Michigan as he does every couple of years because he grew up here. This Michigan visit seemed to be the same as any other visit until he got home and realized he had a Mega Millions ticket that matched the first five numbers, yielding him $250,000 from the drawing on July 6.
Byklas does not currently have any major plans regarding his new mega bucks.
The winning ticket was sold by Louies Super Value Foods located at 53115 State Highway M26 in Lake Linden.
