The winning ticket was purchased at the Walter’s Pipe Shop located at 122 West Lafayette Blvd. in Detroit.

The prize will expire on Thursday, November 8, 2012 and must be claimed by 4 p.m.  The winner must contact the Lottery’s Public Relations Division at (517) 373-1237 to set up an appointment to claim the prize.

The winning numbers were 05-31-45-47-54 Gold Mega Ball 04 and the Megaplier was 4x. The winner must match the first five numbers exactly as shown to win the prize and must have the original ticket.

Mega Millions tickets and all other terminal-based tickets are valid one year from the draw date. If the prize goes unclaimed, the money will be deposited into the state School Aid Fund, which is the beneficiary of all Lottery profits.
