Free ticket wins player $1,000,000!

Michigan Lottery PowerballIrene Molette of Detroit had never played an online game before; she prefers scratch-off tickets. However, when she scratched off her instant Powerball ticket, her prize was a free online Powerball ticket.

“I didn’t even know how to play. I had to call people to help me,” said Molette.

The winning ticket was sold at MLK Food Center located at 3181 3rd Ave. in Detroit.
