Allendale, Michigan is not only the home of Grand Valley State University, but also the home of the Michigan Lottery’s latest winner of Fantasy 5!  This anonymous long time lottery player used five “easy pick” numbers to lay claim to the $110,000 jackpot from the March 12th drawing.

The winning ticket was sold by Family Fare Quick Stop #852 located at 6380 Lake Michigan Dr. in Allendale.

Over 95 cents of every dollar spent on Lottery tickets is returned to the state in the form of contributions to the state School Aid Fund, prizes to players and commissions to retailers. In fiscal year 2011, the contribution to schools was over $727.3 million. Since its inception in 1972, the Lottery has contributed over $16 billion to education in Michigan.
