On February 28 the Michigan Lottery introduced the “Cash for Life” series of instant tickets which offer players the chance to win big money each week for the rest of their lives!
This “family” of games offers different top prizes at each price point:

The $1 ticket offers players the chance to win $400 a week for life.

The $2 ticket gives players the opportunity to win $800 a week for life.

The $5 ticket will give buyers a chance at winning $2,000 a week for life.

The $10 ticket will net the lucky winners a whopping $4,000 a week for life!
Two “life” prizes are available for each price point, but players who don’t win these top prizes still have a chance at winning some of the other $64.5 million available in the games.
“This is a great family of games,” said Lottery Commissioner M. Scott Bowen. “And with ticket prices ranging from $1 to $10 there’s a ticket available for every player’s budget.”
Over 95 cents of every dollar spent on Lottery tickets is returned to the state in the form of contributions to the state School Aid Fund, prizes to players and commissions to retailers. In fiscal year 2011, the contribution to schools was over $727.3 million. Since its inception in 1972, the Lottery has contributed over $16 billion to education in Michigan.
