LANSING, March 28, 2011 – Two lucky Michigan Lottery players won Saturday night’s $5 million Classic Lotto 47 jackpot!

The winning tickets, with the numbers 01 28 31 42 44 46, were sold at Meijer #177, 8401 26 Mile Rd., in Washington and Meijer #68, 37201 Warren Rd., in Westland. The winners should contact the Michigan Lottery’s Public Relations Division at 517-373-1237 to schedule an appointment to claim the prize.

In total, 10,813 players were winners in Saturday night’s drawing, with prize amounts ranging from $5 to the jackpot.

Over 94 cents of every dollar spent on Lottery tickets is returned to the state in the form of contributions to the state School Aid Fund, prizes to players and commissions to retailers. In fiscal year 2010, the contribution to schools was $701.3 million. Since its inception in 1972, the Lottery has contributed more than $15 billion to education in Michigan.
