LANSING, November 9, 2009 – The Lottery’s newest Millionaire Raffle is on sale now and with tickets at only $20 each, it promises to be a hit with players because of the new second-chance opportunity to win bonus cash prizes.
In addition to the 6,018 prizes awarding in the drawing, this raffle gives players eight additional opportunities to win $25,000! To enter the “Millionaire Raffle Second Chance Sweepstakes” bonus drawing, players must submit their Millionaire Raffle ticket online at the Lottery’s VIP player Web site, www.playercity.net. Players may enter as many times as they wish, but an individual Millionaire Raffle ticket may only be entered one time. Drawings for the second chance prizes will begin on November 18 and continue each week until the last drawing on January 6. Submitted tickets will continue to be eligible for subsequent bonus drawings. Each drawing will award one winner a $25,000 prize!
Bonus prizes are limited one per person but the winners will still be eligible for the regular Raffle drawing. They will be contacted by the Michigan Lottery with detailed prize claim instructions and a list of winners will be posted on the Millionaire Raffle Second Chance Sweepstakes promotional Web site after each winner has been verified.
The bonus drawings are in addition to the regular Millionaire Raffle prizes. Like previous raffles, 600,000 tickets are being sold, each with a unique raffle number. The drawing will be conducted on or after January 6 when 6,018 winning raffle numbers will be selected. The first six raffle numbers drawn will be awarded prizes of $1,000,000 each; the next 12 will be awarded prizes worth $100,000 each; the following 2,000 will be awarded prizes worth $500 each; and the last 4,000 selected will be awarded prizes worth $100 each. Players will need to present their winning ticket to claim all prizes.
Following the drawing, all Millionaire Raffle results will be available via the Lottery’s Web site at https://www.michiganlottery.com/.
