LANSING, September 30, 2009 – After matching all five Fantasy 5 numbers on September 26, an anonymous Lottery player from West Bloomfield has claimed a $110,000 prize.

The winning easy-pick ticket was purchased at Smokers Only Harper Woods, 19532 Kelly Rd., in Harper Woods.

Fantasy 5 drawings are conducted seven days a week. Jackpots start at $100,000 and grow by approximately $5,000 daily.

Over 95 cents of every dollar spent on Lottery tickets is returned to the state in the form of contributions to the state School Aid Fund, prizes to players and commissions to retailers. In fiscal year 2009, the contribution to schools was over $715 million. Since its inception in 1972, the Lottery has contributed more than $15 billion to education in Michigan.
