LANSING, September 28, 2009 – Jerold Stratton of Hesperia was the lucky winner of a $30,000 prize on the Lottery’s Whole Lotta Wild Time Instant ticket!
The long-time player hid the winning ticket in a fire proof file cabinet before cashing it at the Lottery’s Grand Rapids office. The retiree plans to purchase a golf cart with some of the prize money.
The winning ticket was purchased at the Hesperia E-Z Mart, 11 N. Division St., in Hesperia.
Whole Lotta Wild Time is just one of many Michigan Lottery Instant tickets available at nearly 11,000 Lottery retailers statewide.
Over 95 cents of every dollar spent on Lottery tickets is returned to the state in the form of contributions to the state School Aid Fund, prizes to players and commissions to retailers.
