LANSING, July 15, 2009 – The July 7 Fantasy 5 jackpot worth $355,230 was won by two anonymous Lottery players. The lucky winners both matched all five numbers and split the jackpot. Each player collected $177,615!

The winning easy-pick tickets were purchased at Boyne City S&K Marathon, 201 S. Lake St., in Boyne City and Orchard NW Mobil, 7389 Orchard Lake Rd., in West Bloomfield.

Fantasy 5 drawings are conducted seven days a week. Jackpots start at $100,000 and grow by approximately $5,000 daily.

Over 95 cents of every dollar spent on Lottery tickets is returned to the state in the form of contributions to the state School Aid Fund, prizes to players and commissions to retailers. In fiscal year 2008, the contribution to schools was over $740.7 million. Since its inception in 1972, the Lottery has contributed more than $15 billion to education in Michigan.
