LANSING, June 18, 2009 – Two lucky players are the winners of the two top $300,000 prizes on the Lottery’s Single Double Triple Play Bingo Instant ticket!

Angela Baker of Muskegon is a long-time Lottery player and had previously won $75 before cashing in her winning instant ticket. She hid the lucky ticket in a phone book in the bathroom before claiming the prize at Lottery Central in Lansing. Baker plans to buy and house and take the family on a vacation with the prize money.

The second top prize was claimed by an anonymous player from Frederic. The lucky winner plans to buy a new truck with the prize money.

The winning tickets were purchased at Wesco #31, 1819 E. Apple Ave., in Muskegon and the Beacon & Bridge Market #28, 6544 AuSable St., in Frederic.

Single Double Triple Play Bingo is just one of many Michigan Lottery Instant tickets available at nearly 11,000 Lottery retailers statewide.

Over 95 cents of every dollar spent on Lottery tickets is returned to the state in the form of contributions to the state School Aid Fund, prizes to players and commissions to retailers. In fiscal year 2008, the contribution to schools was over $740.7 million. Since its inception in 1972, the Lottery has contributed more than $15 billion to education in Michigan.
