LANSING, April 3, 2009 – Krissy Posey was happy when she matched all five numbers in the March 10 Fantasy 5 drawing and thought the win was “no big deal.” The Southfield woman won $105,000!

Posey plans to invest the easy-pick prize money.

The lucky winning ticket was purchased at CVS/Pharmacy 08021, 30920 Southfield Rd., in Southfield.

Fantasy 5 drawings are conducted seven days a week. Jackpots start at $100,000 and grow by approximately $5,000 daily.

Over 95 cents of every dollar spent on Lottery tickets is returned to the state in the form of contributions to the state School Aid Fund, prizes to players and commissions to retailers. In fiscal year 2008, the contribution to schools was over $740.7 million. Since its inception in 1972, the Lottery has contributed more than $15 billion to education in Michigan.
