LANSING, April 3, 2009 – Peter Ivezaj had the luck of the Irish on his side when he won a $10,000 prize after matching four white ball numbers and the gold Mega ball number in the March 17 Mega Millions drawing.
Ivezaj was happy with his win but wished he would have had the gold Mega ball number, which would have entitled him to the jackpot! The long-time player plans to pay bills with the easy-pick prize money.
The lucky winning ticket was purchased at 7-Eleven 32692, 16570 24 Mile Rd., in Macomb.
Mega Millions is a multi-state lottery game in Michigan, California, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Texas, Virginia and Washington. Wagers cost $1 each and tickets may be purchased at nearly 11,000 Michigan Lottery retailers statewide.
