Mega Millions prize claimed

LANSING, December 22, 2008 – Eva Hannawi could hardly believe her luck when she checked the newspaper and found out she had matched four white balls and the gold Mega ball on the December 12 Mega Millions drawing. On the same drawing she also matched the gold Mega ball on two other picks, bringing her total winnings to $10,004!

The long-time Lottery player hid the winning ticket in a dresser drawer before cashing it at the Lottery’s Sterling Heights office. Hannawi plans to spend the money on her family.

The lucky winning easy-pick ticket was purchased at Mr. C’s Deli #4, 35990 S. Gratiot Ave., in Clinton Township.
