LANSING, December 22, 2008 – After months of anticipation, the Cadillac Cash Escalade number has been selected. The winning number is 672 1171.

Over one million players entered in the drawing, which took place this morning at Lottery Central in Lansing. The winner will receive a 2008 or 2009 model Cadillac Escalade, valued at $84,645. The Lottery will pay all taxes on the vehicle. Cash option is not available.

The player who has the matching number (in exact order) must contact the Lottery’s Public Relations division no later than February 18, 2010 at (517) 335-5640. The original stub must be presented.

Cadillac Cash  is just one of many Michigan Lottery Instant tickets available at nearly 11,000 Lottery retailers statewide.

Over 95 cents of every dollar spent on Lottery tickets is returned to the state in the form of contributions to the state School Aid Fund, prizes to players and commissions to retailers. In fiscal year 2008, the contribution to schools was $740.7 million. Since its inception in 1972, the Lottery has contributed more than $15 billion to education in Michigan.
