LANSING, October 10, 2008 – An anonymous man claimed his Fantasy 5 prize at Lottery Central in Lansing. He won $105,000 after matching all five numbers in the October 4 drawing.

The lucky winning easy pick ticket was purchased at the South Lyon BP, 450 N. Lafayette St., in South Lyon.

Fantasy 5 drawings are conducted seven days a week. Jackpots start at $100,000 and grow by approximately $5,000 daily.

Over 95 cents of every dollar spent on Lottery tickets is returned to the state in the form of contributions to the state School Aid Fund, prizes to players and commissions to retailers. In fiscal year 2008, the contribution to schools was over $740 million. Since its inception in 1972, the Lottery has contributed more than $15 billion to education in Michigan.
