LANSING, September 15, 2008 – Ashton Pitts, a student from Macomb, is a very lucky Mega Millions player! On September 9, he matched four white ball numbers and the gold Mega ball number and won a $10,000 prize!
Pitts was surprised when he found out he won the $10,000 prize and hid the winning ticket in his wallet prior to cashing it in at the Lottery’s Sterling Heights office. He plans to pay bills with his prize money.
The lucky easy pick winning ticket was purchased at Abbey’s Wine & Liquor Shop, 25030 Southfield Rd., in Southfield.
