LANSING, June 2, 2008 – The first half of the May 27 Fantasy 5 jackpot has been claimed! Two people matched the same numbers of 02 05 11 26 and 28 and an anonymous man claimed his half today.

The winning easy pick ticket was purchased at Meijer #35, 14640 Pardee Rd., in Taylor.

Fantasy 5 drawings are conducted seven days a week. Jackpots start at $100,000 and grow by approximately $5,000 daily.

Over 95 cents of every dollar spent on Lottery tickets is returned to the state in the form of contributions to the state School Aid Fund, prizes to players and commissions to retailers. In fiscal year 2007, the contribution to schools was $748.9 million. Since its inception in 1972, the Lottery has contributed more than $14.3 billion to education in Michigan.
