LANSING, April 28, 2008 – A lucky anonymous man claimed the April 22 Fantasy 5 jackpot of $105,000. Besides matching all five numbers, he also matched two separate times on the same ticket to bring his grand total up to $105,011.

The lucky winning easy pick ticket was purchased at Wine Depot Party Shop, 23550 Van Dyke Ave., in Warren.

Fantasy 5 drawings are conducted seven days a week. Jackpots start at $100,000 and grow by approximately $5,000 daily.

Over 95 cents of every dollar spent on Lottery tickets is returned to the state in the form of contributions to the state School Aid Fund, prizes to players and commissions to retailers. In fiscal year 2007, the contribution to schools was $748.9 million. Since its inception in 1972, the Lottery has contributed more than $14.3 billion to education in Michigan.
