Lansing, April 2, 2008 – April Fool’s Day was no joke for one lucky Michigan Lottery player who matched all six numbers in last night’s Mega Millions drawing to win a whopping $135 million!

The winning ticket was sold at Joy Mobil, 27350 Joy Rd., in Redford Township. White ball numbers were 04-17-26-46-56 and the Mega ball was 25.

“Congratulations to Michigan’s newest millionaire,” said Lottery Commissioner M. Scott Bowen. “We look forward to presenting you with your check!”

Cash value of the ticket is $84.1 million. The winner will have a choice of either taking the cash value of the ticket, $84.1 million, less taxes, or the annuity amount of $135 million, less taxes, over 26 years.

The winner should call the Michigan Lottery Public Relations Division at 517-373-1237 to schedule an appointment to claim the prize.
